Development Engineer Mechatronics Focus on Software (m/f/d | 80 - 100%)

In order to meet the growing demand for electrically driven buses, we are strengthening our teams in the field of technology and projects and are therefore looking for a dynamic development engineer for the special field of mechatronics.

You have a flair for vehicles and are fascinated by the interplay between mechanics and electronics? The design of the on-board network with the latest information and camera systems, networks, infotainment, HMI and M2M interfaces, i.e. also the programming of the individual components, have a great influence on the functions of the vehicle. In this challenge, you can use your know-how to move thousands of people safely, comfortably and sustainably with electric mobility in public transport every day. Their tasks

• Development of software for the complete vehicle (multiplex system)
• Management and/or cooperation in development projects, including implementation of the necessary design reviews
• Programming and parameterization of sub-systems, including validation and verification in test environment
• Implementation and support of initial commissioning of subsystems and the complete vehicle 24V
• Support of customer service (3rd-level support)
• Product care in the field of vehicle software

Our requirements

• Basic technical training
• BSc Automotive Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or in a similar subject area
• Basic programming skills in C/C++ or other programming languages
• Knowledge of working with communication systems such as the CAN bus
• Safe knowledge of German and English in words and writing, knowledge of French is advantageous
• Passion for vehicles and interest in electromobility
