Role overview
Tasks
- You relieve the team lead in day-to-day operations and take over his deputy and professional responsibility for around 15 employees
- You work with about 80% operationally in the receipt of goods and ensure efficient unloading, booking in the system (Navision) and storage using a truck
- Together with your team, you coordinate the incoming goods of around 60 trucks and up to 900 pallets per day and ensure that the ramps run smoothly.
- You take over the ramp management as well as the predictive deployment and resource planning in day-to-day operations
- You plan and coordinate container deliveries taking into account storage capacities
- You work closely with purchasing, logistics planning and quality assurance and ensure a good flow of information
- You develop your team through coaching on the job, promote collaboration and create a dynamic environment with continuous improvements
Requirements
- You have experience in logistics, ideally with training as a logistician EFZ
- You have a valid truck ID and work safely with industrial trucks
- You communicate safely in German (at least B1, ideally B2) in word and writing
