Role overview

The Department of Education, Culture and Sport (DBKS) of the Canton of Solothurn comprises the Primary School Office, the Office for Vocational Education, Central and Higher Education, the Office for Culture and Sports and the Departmental Secretariat.

The departmental secretariat is home to the central competence and focal point for communication, which advises and supports the department head, the department secretary and the office heads in all communication tasks.

For the communication department, we are looking for a communications officer, 60-80%, as of 01.11.2026 or by agreement at the Solothurn location. Your responsibility

Key requirements

  • You have a degree from a technical college or university in the field of communication, ideally supplemented by further training in the field of PR, communication management or journalism.
  • You also have several years of professional experience in corporate communications or journalism.
