Main responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the LUKS Group’s site-wide ENT clinic (medical, organisational and economic) as well as management of the medical, logopaedic, audiological, neurootological, MPA and administrative teams with the involvement of senior staff
  • Strategic and conceptual development of the ENT clinic with focus on robotic surgery, endoscopic ear, NNH and cranial base surgery, cochlear and middle ear implant surgery as well as cross-site strategies for existing and future sites
  • Ensuring the highest quality standards in diagnostics and therapy, promoting innovations, new technologies, clinical research, university teaching and further and further training within the recognized training centre category A
  • Responsibility for the budget, resources and economic development of the clinic, care and expansion of the referral network, promotion of interdisciplinary cooperation and representation of the clinic and strengthening regional, national and international networks Requirements
  • Specialist title (FMH or equivalent) for otorhinolaryngology with focus title neck and facial surgery and broad, proven expertise in the entire ENT spectrum and own focus in at least one subspecialty
  • High operational competence in at least one ENT subspecialty as well as leadership experience at a center hospital or in a university environment with a scientific profile
  • Proven ability to implement your own research ideas, especially in clinical and university research, combined with strong leadership, social and communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
  • In-depth knowledge of Swiss health and insurance, business understanding (ideally with leadership or management training) and openness to digitalization We offer:
  • Management and further development of otolaryngeal and head neck surgery including phoniatria, neuro-otology and pediatric audiology with an excellent team and state-of-the-art infrastructure (robotics, microscopic and endoscopic surgery)
  • Great scope for further development of the ENT clinic and its sub-disciplines across the various locations of the LUKS Group and the LUKS Children's Hospital
