Tasks

• Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care (conservative and surgical) of hip diseases and injuries
• Independent performance of surgical procedures in hip endoprosthetics, revision surgery, joint-maintaining hip surgery and traumatology
• Management and cooperation in specialized hip consultation hours as well as interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation
• Takeover and further development of own research projects as well as publication activities
• Engagement in the education and training of assistant doctors Requirements
• Specialist title Orthopaedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system (FMH or recognized in Switzerland); Habilitation is beneficial
• Several years of clinical experience in hip surgery, ideally with proven expertise in endoprosthetics, revision procedures and traumatology
• Enjoy working in a university, interprofessional environment
• High service orientation, teamwork and strong communication skills
• Scientific interest and willingness to actively promote research and innovation
