Role overview
Your job is to evaluate and care for children, adolescents 0-18 years old and their families in an outpatient setting within CAP.
CAP also works closely with UHPA (Unit d'hospitalisation Psychiatric pour Adolescents) and with the emergency room at the Moutier Hospital, which can respond to the urgent outpatient request. To this end, the missions are:
Conduct independent child-psychiatric assessments and care of patients
- Your job is to evaluate and care for children, adolescents 0-18 years old and their families in an outpatient setting within CAP.
- CAP also works closely with UHPA (Unit d'hospitalisation Psychiatric pour Adolescents) and with the emergency room at the Moutier Hospital, which can respond to the urgent outpatient request. To this end, the missions are:
- Demonstrate capacity for, support, management of complex cases in the field and decision-making and responsibilities of a 2nd line senior physician
- The Medacin's team responsible for the site, the CAP's reference medecin-cheffe, in terms of the tasks involved in the organisation of the site and the proper conduct of the care (pedopsychiatric evaluations, family interviews and networks)
- The possession of a medical diploma or equivalent recognized by the Federal Medical Professions Commission (MEBE-KO) is compulsory.

Main responsibilities
- Demonstrate capacity for, support, management of complex cases in the field and decision-making and responsibilities of a 2nd line senior physician
- The Medacin's team responsible for the site, the CAP's reference medecin-cheffe, in terms of the tasks involved in the organisation of the site and the proper conduct of the care (pedopsychiatric evaluations, family interviews and networks)
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the medico-therapeutic team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans if necessary Prescribing and managing psychiatric drugs
- Participate in the outpatient continuity system.
- To respond to crises and provide emergency child psychiatric care, if necessary.
- Attend meetings of the medical-therapeutic team to discuss patient care.
- Make accurate and detailed electronic medical records.
- Participate in the development and implementation of child psychiatric protocols and procedures in the outpatient and hospital sector
- Collaborate with other health care providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
