Your Responsibilities
- You make sure to understand customers and market requirements for diesel gensets
- You define the product strategy and product roadmap
- You conduct business cases and profitability analyses
- You analyze the market and the competition within the diesel genset segment
- You manage requirements and ensure that the product fulfills them
- You ensure the success of the assigned product group throughout its entire life cycle in a matrix organization
- You ensure the long- and short-term profitability of the product group
- You manage the product portfolio and product variants
- You track all relevant product KPIs (financial, quality, delivery performance) and work to improve them
- You proactively monitor and participate in industry events related to diesel power generation to identify and leverage new developments Your Profile
- You hold a university degree in Engineering with good commercial understanding or in Commercial with good technical understanding
- You have more than 5 years of experience in product management and/or business development within the Genset industry
- You possess strong industry knowledge and hands-on experience with diesel engines Gensets
- You have an excellent command of English and German (B2), while knowledge of French is considered as an asset
- You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project
