Main responsibilities
- Patient treatment including patient information about the importance and causes of dental diseases and periodontitis.
- Patient instruction on how and with which aids existing and threatening diseases can be combated.
- Advice on nutrition and health.
- Clinical and X-ray studies of patients with the emphasis on plaque and gums, changes in the mucous membrane and the dental hard substance, carious lesions, degree of inflammation of the gums, bone pockets.
- Creating a treatment plan together with the dentist and the patient.
- Instrumental removal of dental coverings.
- Polishing of fillings and removal of filling surpluses.

- Requirements: You have completed your training as a dental hygienist:in X-rays and have gained first professional experience.
