Main responsibilities
- Coordination (about 60%)
- Professional management of the team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Control of shunting manoeuvres, handling of trains and carrying out technical train inspections (including journeys according to FDV)
- Central contact person for control centre, transport management, network line and locomotive personnel
- Monitoring processes and equipment with fast, solution-oriented intervention in the event of disruptions
- Active participation in new lifting and shunting concepts as well as continuous process optimization
- Operational day-to-day operations (approximately 40)
- Transhipment of swap containers with vehicles between lorries and railway wagons (horizontal transhipment)
- Loading, unloading, provisioning and bridging of swap containers
- Timely pick-ups and deliveries according to customer specifications
