Staff/in Technical Service — Spitäler Schaffhausen

Role overview

You take responsibility for our sanitary facilities and ensure reliable operation in our hospital.

Tasks

• Water supply: care for all plants in water supply such as softening systems, reverse osmosis systems, pressure boosters, hot water treatment, legionella protection systems, system separators etc.

• Sanitary equipment: Thermodesinfektoren, dishwashers, dishwashers, water dispensers, dosing machines and other sanitary equipment on the departments
• Disposal systems: sewerage, fat separators, control shafts etc.

• Periodic tasks: regular testing of the water temperatures, rinsing of seldom used extraction points etc.

Requirements

• Training: completed training in sanitation (e.g.

sanitary installation in EFZ) or comparable technical training

• Professional experience: experience in sanitary technology, ideally in a complex building operation (spital or comparable institution)
• Expertise:
• Maintenance of sanitary facilities and pipelines
• Repair or replacement of defective components
• Plants and system knowledge in sanitary technology (drinking water hygiene, water treatment, wastewater systems, drainage, hot water systems)
• Basic knowledge of other building engineering areas (heating, ventilation and electrical) of advantage
• Further requirements:
• Self-employed and systematic work
• Good knowledge of German and language in word and writing
