During your internship, you will have the chance to gain insights into the research and development department of GF Piping Systems. Our goal is to promote the further development of our products in a targeted manner and to discover new ways in cooperation with internal specialist departments and to improve them sustainably. As a full-fledged team member among engineers, you work directly on various and current projects and coordinate independently with the corresponding departments. We therefore offer internships in the area of R&D from August 2026 or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Support for current development projects in the various fields of mechanical engineering, plastics technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering and development of prototypes as well as product concepts
• Implementation and development of tests on prototypes in our innovation laboratory
• Evaluation and presentation of your test results in the team
• Support within the framework of day-to-day business, the project team and, if necessary, the takeover of (sub)projects
• Competitive analysis and product management support

Your profile

• Student or graduate in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, plastic engineering, industrial engineering, systems engineering, or a similar field even without a technical focus
• Also completed vocational apprenticeship, Matura or Abitur possible as a preliminary internship for study or orientation internship
• Practical experience, e.g. through first professional experience, hobbies, training, internships of advantage
• Open personality, team player and technically interested
• Independent, goal-oriented working method with the motivation to also contribute and implement your own ideas
• Safe use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
• Safe knowledge of German and English in word and writing
