Main responsibilities

  • A dynamic, integrative and cooperative personality with extensive clinical expertise and scientific experience in traumatology, especially polytrauma research and the care of polytrauma patient:inside.
  • A habilitation or equivalent scientific qualification and a specialist title in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system as well as the main title for spinal surgery or equivalent foreign qualification are required.
  • The willingness to cooperate with affiliated clinics at the USZ and the Balgrist University Hospital is expected.
  • As you will take over the management of the Traumatology Clinic, you will have experience in the management or deputy management of a universitary clinic.
  • In addition, you will have extensive experience in the management of a research group, the recruitment of competitive third-party funds as well as in the teaching of the student, the supervision of qualification work and the promotion of young academics.
