- Cantonal Hospital is looking for a senior physician specializing in vascular surgery (100%) The HFR Freiburg
- Cantonal Hospital is the cantonal reference hospital.
- It has 300 beds spread across eight clinics.
- The Department of General Surgery is recognized by the SIWF as a Category A training center for surgery and Category B for vascular surgery.
- It currently has 55 beds and records more than 2,700 hospital stays and over 3,500 procedures annually.
- The range of operations in vascular surgery ranges from surgery of the upper and lower extremities to interventions on the carotid artery and abdominal aorta, amputations and wound treatments as well as venous surgery to the creation of access for hemodialysis and endovascular procedures.
- Patient care is provided on an interdisciplinary basis, in close collaboration with the radiology and angiology departments.
- As a regional reference center for vascular surgery, the clinic ensures intensive emergency operations and has a medical technology infrastructure that enables the treatment of complex cases.
