Role overview

The Breitenau Psychiatry Center is, in addition to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service and the Cantonal Hospital, one of several locations of the Schaffhausen hospitals.

The Breitenau Psychiatry Center in Schaffhausen’s Breite Quarter consists of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy with its inpatient, day-clinical and outpatient treatment services as well as long-term psychiatry.

Main responsibilities

  • Support for assistant doctors in everyday hospital life Participation in daily reports and visits Participation in training events
  • Assistance on the wards (acute, rehabilitation, day clinic) Regular working hours (Monday Friday)
  • Free accommodation in the staff house Requirements
  • Very good knowledge of German in language and writing
