Due to a subsequent occupation, we are looking for an accountant for our Corporate Shared Service Center at our headquarters in Schaffhausen. As part of a team of three, you are responsible for the financial accounting of several Group companies and actively contribute to the continuous development of our financial processes. This position is particularly suitable for people who have a high operational efficiency in accounting, but also like strategic challenges, such as taking on certain controlling activities.

Their tasks

• Overall responsibility for the financial accounting of two Group companies, responsibility for creditors, debtors and main accounting
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as Group reporting
• Main contact for internal and external auditors/auditors
• Efficient asset accounting, including project controlling of investment projects and expenditures (Capex)
• Advancing standardization and continuous improvement of financial processes within the Shared Service Center
• Support for the evaluation, introduction and migration of new systems (e.g. S/4HANA)

Your profile

• Completed studies in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (or comparable qualification)
• Ideally, 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in a similar environment (complexity, internationality, asset accounting, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts
• Number flair and affinity for processes and systems, very good xls knowledge and experience with SAP, ideally also SAP S/4HANA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Convincing and winning communication, negotiable German and English
