Main responsibilities
- Leadership of the newly founded team and creating the conditions for successful collaboration
- About 50% of your time you are with the team: you develop scalable features together with the team, participate in architectural decisions and ensure technical and professional orientation in the team
- As a sparring partner for product owner, UX designer and software architect explain technical topics in such a way that they are also understandable outside the engineering - promote cross-team topics, keep stakeholders up to date, as a bridge to the
- Head of Engineering, making the team's achievements visible and bringing relevant decisions back into the team
- actively shaping the cooperation with our external development partner and finding ways to work together well in internal and external development
- taking responsibility for the professional and personal development of the team members
- empowering the team to make decisions themselves, take the concerns of the team members seriously and create a motivating and positive environment as a reliable leader
Key requirements
- 5+ years: Software Engineering / Software Development
- Completed studies (Uni/ETH, FH, HF): Computer Science / Computer Science
- Strong leadership and empathy skills as well as joy in dealing with different personalities and cultural backgrounds
- Well-founded engineering experience with C#/.NET, distributed systems and modern web technologies.
- Whether your focus is on the backend or frontend, it doesn't matter – as long as you want to work on both sides - experience with AI-supported work, such as with Claude Code, Agents and Skills, is an plus.
- The key issues are openness, willingness to learn and a reflective, responsible handling of these tools
- interest in the product and its further development, and the ability to think in terms of features instead of outcomes and to focus on the concrete benefits for our customers
