Main responsibilities
- You have comprehensive operational responsibility for the acquisition and license management of electronic media: Negotiations with providers of e-journals
- Ensuring the access and registration of e-journals: activation in the network and proof in the systems
- Preparation of information for decision-making and statistical surveys
- Cooperation with magazine agencies and publishers and processing of inquiries
- Implementation of administrative activities in the Alma library system Controlling the corresponding invoices
- Inventory management and documentation of corresponding workflows
- Close cooperation with the consortium of Swiss university libraries, the UB Liaison Librarians and other agencies. You manage Read & Publish offers:
- Author identification and advice on open access inquiries regarding funding and Read & Publish contracts.

- Bachelor in the field of library/information sciences or comparable education or several years of professional experience
- Know-how in the scientific information and publication environment as well as experience in the licensing of digital media are desired. Knowledge of Open Access is desired
- Analytical-conceptual thinking, structured, independent and efficient working method, high service orientation and strong teamwork Good knowledge of German and English Good knowledge in MS 365 applications
- Experience with the Alma library system (e-resources)
