Role overview

Introduction For our Logistics department, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator (M/F), whose main mission will be to optimize the processes linked to the management of chemicals as well as the organization of the transport of dangerous goods for our Geneva and Friborg sites.

Responsibilities

  • Manage item data: populate and update chemical product item sheets in SAP (Key User)
  • Ensure regulatory compliance related to storage, transport and handling of chemical products and waste
  • Manage inventory management and ensure rigorous monitoring of inventories
  • Monitor indicators and action plans for continuous improvement, proposing concrete solutions to optimize processes
  • Perform the function of Safety Advisor for the transport of dangerous materials (OCS, IATA)
  • Lead or participate in logistics projects (evolution of SAP IT tools, item scanning, development of FRI and Bulles sites, etc.)
  • Ensure operational assistance and replacements on the various positions in the service, mainly: - Logistics: dock management, stocks, order preparation, deliveries, organization of transport - Special waste: Waste classifications, management of preparation, elimination (OMoD), record keeping and processing of invoices.

Profile

  • Logistician at federal or CFC level with 3 years of experience or equivalent skills
  • Category B driving license required Safety Advisor training for the transport of dangerous goods (ADR, OCS, IATA), Forklift driver's license, ADR/SDR license, an asset
  • Proven experience in logistics management, ideally in an environment containing chemicals and/or hazardous waste
  • Knowledge of chemistry: understanding of SDS data, hazard identification and management chemical risks
  • Comfort with usual IT tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and with SAP
  • Pronounced taste for multidisciplinary team work and collective projects; ability to animate and unite.
