- Under the supervision of a senior physician, you manage a ward, including admissions, care throughout the stay, and discharge planning with documentation and report writing for inpatients; specifically, you also determine indications for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

Main responsibilities
- Under the supervision of a senior physician, you manage a ward, including admissions, care throughout the stay, and discharge planning with documentation and report writing for inpatients; specifically, you also determine indications for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- You conduct ward rounds independently and assist in creating therapy plans.
- You perform or interpret various examinations (depending on training level, independently or under supervision), in particular stress tests, punctures, ECGs, lung function tests, nocturnal screening tests, conventional chest X-rays, simple sonographic findings, Point of Care lab tests, and more.
- You guide medical students (Unterassistenten) in professional topics.
- You actively collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and in medical diagnostics.
- You participate in the clinic's medical internal medicine on-call service. Requirements
- Your future plans include specialist training in General Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonology (including the certificate of competence in sleep medicine), or Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, or you wish to complete an external year in General Internal Medicine (including the certificate of competence in psychosomatic medicine).
- Very good knowledge of German in speech and writing (native speaker or language level at least C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference).
