Main responsibilities

  • As an Operational Excellence Trainee, your main responsibilities will be as follows: Leading an Operational Excellence mission within the Swiss Jewellery Centre Framework: planning, governance bodies, objectives, deliverables Conduct the mission according to the DMAIC approach Coordinate the progress of the project with the various actors Ensure regular reporting to the dedicated bodies Communicate effectively and support the conduct of the change Guarantee the achievement of the deliverables and results Support the departments in their steps of progress Conduct improvement projects to support the departments (5S, visual management, working standards, improvement of tools) Support or train the professions in the methodologies of operational excellence (VSM, DMAIC, Kaizen) Contribute to the culture of Operational Excellence within the Swiss Jewellery Centre Communicating and valorising the field actions Capitalize on the good practices of the lean, propose new initiatives or methods of Operational Excellence for the manufacture WHAT ARE THE CLES OF YOUR RECEIVABLE IN OUR HOUSE?
  • Having a degree in engineering (or equivalent), you justify first experience in a similar position, ideally acquired in an industrial environment.
  • You have a good knowledge of concepts, tools and methodologies of Operational Excellence and Lean manufacturing (VSM, DMAIC, Kaizen, 8D etc.).
  • You are pragmatic and know how to listen to the needs of business teams.
  • You are curious, organized and rigorous.
  • You like to work independently and proactively.
  • You master the basics of project management (planning, reporting, animation of workshops).
  • Your communication skills, team spirit and good relationship allow you to work effectively with a variety of interlocutors, to foster commitment to change.
