CONTEXT

In our jewellery factory, we are looking for an Operational Excellence Internship to conduct process and performance optimization missions. The Department of Operational Excellence guarantees continuous improvement for all departments, from production workshops to support functions (Logistics, Quality, Development, Finance...)

HOW DO YOU HAVE A IMPACT?

As an Operational Excellence Intern, your main responsibilities will be:

Leading a mission of Operational Excellence within the Swiss Jewellery Centre •

Framework: planning, governance bodies, objectives, deliverables

Conducting the mission according to the DMAIC approach

Coordinate the progress of the project with the various actors

Ensure regular reporting to dedicated bodies

Effective communication and leadership of change

Ensure deliverables and results are achieved

Support departments in their progress efforts

Conduct improvement projects to support departments (5S, visual management, work standards, tool improvement)

Support or train trades in operational excellence methodologies (VSM, DMAIC, Kaizen)

Contribute to the culture of Operational Excellence within the Swiss Jewellery Centre

Communicating and valuing field actions

Capitalizing on Lean's good practices, proposing new initiatives or methods of Operational Excellence for Manufacturing

WHAT ARE THE CLES OF YOUR SURVEY IN OUR HOUSE?

Having a degree in engineering (or equivalent), you justify first experience in a similar position, ideally acquired in an industrial environment.

You have a good knowledge of concepts, tools and methodologies of Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing (VSM, DMAIC, Kaizen, 8D etc.). You are pragmatic and know how to listen to the needs of business teams.

You're curious, organized and rigorous. You like to work independently and proactively. You master the basics of project management (planning, reporting, animation of workshops).

Your communication skills, team spirit and good relationship allow you to work effectively with a variety of interlocutors, to foster commitment to change.
