- As a research assistant in the Department of Foreign Relations, the basic work, advice, coordination and implementation of cantonal representation in intercantonal and cross-border cooperation is one of your tasks.
- They participate in trinational bodies and coordinate project funding within the framework of Swiss and European regional policy.
- They shall directly assist the members of the Government responsible for foreign policy functions, in particular the member delegated to Upper Rhine Cooperation, in the performance of their duties.
- In the absence of the management of external relations, you take over their deputy.
Requirements
- They have a university degree (master level) in economics, law or political sciences or an equivalent education as well as very good knowledge of the political system in Switzerland and ideally bring with them knowledge of the structures in Germany, France and the EU.
- They have already acquired relevant professional experience in public administration and in the political environment and have practical experience in managing projects and working groups.
- Independent work and self-initiative as well as a secure, diplomatic approach are among your strengths.
- They are able to deal with a wide range of tasks and diverse external contacts.
- Your excellent editorial skills as well as very good knowledge of the French and English languages (verbal and written) round off your profile.
