The NCP of Neuchâtel recruits a Chief Physician in Pedopsychiatry. Join a dynamic team in a stimulating environment.

Tasks

• Develop clinical practice with patients.
• Supervise the multidisciplinary team and medical assistants.
• Participate in teaching and writing medical reports.

Competences

• Recognized medical degree and FMH degree in psychiatry and psychotherapy.
• Minimum 2 years experience in hospital or outpatient psychiatry.
• Ability to work as an interdisciplinary team.

Establishment of cantonal public law, the CNP has the task of conducting the health policy of the canton of Neuchâtel in the field of mental health, in collaboration with partner institutions. The NPC aims to rehabilitate patients suffering from mental disorders by adopting an integrated and community psychiatry model; implements public policies to promote and prevent mental health

You have a Swiss medical degree or are recognized by MEBEKO. You have obtained the FMH title in psychiatry-psychotherapy or are close to it, and would like to join a recognized institution specialized in mental health.

As part of your function you will be required to

o develop direct and continuous clinical practice with patients, in close collaboration with other unit members o oversee the day-to-day work of the multidisciplinary team and, in particular, that of assistant physicians o foster interinstitutional collaboration o participate in the ambulatory custody, first or second line, depending on the absence or presence of the FMH title o participating in unit teaching o supervise the preparation of the reports required by insurance bodies, the supervisory and judicial authorities and any other medical reports
