Full description
Your future playground You will join the Neuchâtel store, located in the mall of Marin-Centre. The first Decathlon concept store in Switzerland, made up of a team of 30 employees, continues to write the story of Decathlon. Your perimeter, the Atelier, is at the heart of our local strategy. The team is composed of 4 passionate technicians and is now in the top 3 countries in terms of market share. Join an adventure that continues to grow Decathlon in Switzerland, it is a success story that started in 2017 in Neuchâtel. Since then, we have opened about ten stores a year to reach 50 outlets today. And we're not going to stop there! Our expansion continues, especially in German-speaking Switzerland, offering career opportunities throughout the country. And now, you're looking for a job where you're not just here to tighten bolts behind an establishment? Do you want to make decisions and be in direct contact with athletes? Do you want to combine your technical expertise with a true sense of customer service? Then this job is for you. Why? 1. Your workshop is your own business. At Decathlon, we like to give responsibility to our teammates. You do not just perform repairs: you must anticipate periods of high activity, manage and guarantee the accuracy of your spare parts stock, and follow your performance indicators (growth, repair rates, customer satisfaction). 2. You are the link between technology and man. The client is at the centre of everything. Whether to provide a precise diagnosis, offer the right choice of services (second life, maintenance) or simply reassure an athlete on his or her equipment, you are in the field. Your technical expertise is only valid if it is shared with the smile. 3. You give trust and you get it. Do you have any idea how to improve the efficiency of the workshop or reduce our processing times? You have the right to try, to make mistakes, and to learn. It is by taking initiatives that we grow. Moreover, this position is an excellent springboard: if you have ambition, many opportunities for evolution await you (Referrent Atelier, Regional Technician...). This job isn't for you if...
- You only want to repair bicycles (at home, a workshop touches everything: skis, fitness, flocking/personalization, etc.). Even though bicycles concern the vast majority of our repairs).
- You're only interested in pure technique and CUSTOMER contact bothers you.
- You like top-down structures and wait for us to make decisions for you.
- You're not ready to work on Saturdays (because that's when our clients need us most). What's a workshop technician like? Your mission is twofold: to ensure the irreproachable quality of your technical services while guaranteeing an exceptional customer experience. On a daily basis, your responsibilities are divided into two main areas: 1. Diagnosis and customer relationship:
- Welcome the client, listen to their need and provide a reliable and accurate diagnosis
- Apply workshop management standards and follow diagnostic procedures
- Sell our products and services (physically and digitally) and systematically offer the right choice of circular economy services
- Offer a quote and time frame tailored to the needs of the athlete
- Manage the collection and delivery of equipment with maintenance advice
- Your success indicators (KPIs): % correct diagnosis, % share of local PEC (sustainability), Growth in number of interventions (PEC), Average fee basket. 2. Technical and operational services:
- Perform repair, maintenance and rehabilitation services according to Decathlon safety standards.
- Ensure customisation of products (flocage, engraving...).
- Guarantee the accuracy of your spare parts stock and order what is missing.
- Ensure a safe, clean and secure working environment.
- Your Success Indicators (KPIs): Repair Rate, Local Processing Time, Stock Reliability, Workshop Efficiency, GMV Customization Growth and Rewards, NPS Customization.
