Responsible Development Watches

Your Mission

Federate and animate the team composed of Project Manager Watches & coordinate the development of the new Panerai according to the criteria of price, quality and delay.

How will you make a difference?

Team management

• Lead the team of project leaders by ensuring that the launch objectives are met;
• Organize regular reporting of projects to R&D, Operations and House Directorates (planning, results, problems, budget and risks) and ensure communication with key stakeholders,
• Provide technical support to team members and ensure the quality of deliverables,
• Set and evaluate team objectives, manage their performance and develop their skills,
• Pilot the load/capacity of the team, build the budget (and its updates) and regularly monitor it,
• Promote the values of the Brand and the Group on a daily basis.
• Animation of interfaces with the main internal partners (Product, Quality, Supply Chain & Production)
• Consolidate needs (marketing briefs, medium/long term orientation) as upstream as possible to give maximum visibility on the launch plan,
• Ensure a quick response to the briefings by proactively proposing industrial and efficient solutions in terms of cost/quality and time,
• Encourage interaction between the Maison's stakeholders on the development of new products (marketing, creation, technique, quality, purchasing, customer service, finance and logistics),
• Anticipate blocking points and seek the necessary arbitration,
• Provide technical support for creation and analyse needs in relation to industrial possibilities. Communicating constraints effectively while at the same time making proposals,
• Ensure planning compliance based on launch date,

Monitor and monitor the progress of the portfolio projects produced, communicate progress and critical points (reporting, dashboards, flash...) and anticipate risks.

Continuous improvement

• To monitor and improve the development method, define and implement project management tools,
• Ensure compliance with the various milestones (in particular in terms of deliverability) of the development method,
• Identify and implement and monitor relevant team performance indicators,
• Ensure the accuracy and optimization of cost prices (with the Purchasing Department),
• Identify improvement levers (sourcing, technical choices, construction changes) to optimize the cost price of products and/or improve quality.

Transverse project management

• Organize the follow-up of new suppliers and competitors for sharing with the entire department and marketing and creation partners,
• Frame/lead cross-cutting projects to improve and implement product improvements.

What are the keys to your success in our House?

You benefit from an engineering training in microtechnology or title deemed equivalent and have confirmed experience in project management, Excellent communicator and federator, you have at least 3 years experience in team management, You are comfortable coordinating transversal technical projects (knowledge in watchmaking is mandatory) and have a great ability to adapt and popularize information,

• Force of proposal, you are curious & open mind. You demonstrate excellent team spirit and good relationship,
• You master the usual IT tools (excel & PPT ++). Programming skills (VBA, PBI...) are a plus,
• You master English and French perfectly, both orally and in writing. Knowledge in Italian is an advantage.
