Our operating unit offers a highly developed and efficient multi-disciplinary technical platform with eleven multi-site operating rooms at the sites of La Chaux-de-Fonds and Pourtalès. Every day, it is a dynamic and highly specialized team that supports patients who need surgery, whether planned or in an emergency.

Mission - Provide strategic and operational direction to the operating unit. - Pilot the human resources of the operating unit: operating area, anesthetic, wake-up room, and sterilization; assess needs, adjust the endowments to activity, develop skills (training) and value the teams.

• To participate in the development of the operating grid, the distribution of the vacations and the weekly operating programme, and to ensure the daily regulation of the operation, in collaboration with the local authorities and the doctors concerned - To ensure quality and safety at the operating room by deploying the procedures for prevention and treatment of risks, ensuring hygiene and traceability, and evaluating the application of the practices.

• Collect and transmit the information necessary for the regulation of activity and correct malfunctions - Pilot the objectives and projects of the operating unit, in coordination with the medical and medical teams in collaboration with the other departments, in order to ensure the optimal and overall care of patients. - Deploy, update and enforce the operating charter of the operating unit, while ensuring the monitoring of the activity and performance indicators of the operating unit.

Profile sought

• Diploma of nurse HES (or equivalent title recognized CRS) with specialization in operating unit (IDDO) or anesthetic (EPDES)
• Authorization to practise a health profession in the canton of Neuchâtel
• Federal certificate of specialist in hospital management or will to undertake
• Experience in management of the planning of operating units
• Significant experience in management of, team within, operating unit
