• Communication, diffusion and external strategy of the BFS with overall responsibility and strategic control
• Responsible for internal and external communication including media, corporate and crisis communication at the BFS
• Responsible for national and international relations and represent and position BFS and Switzerland in high-level committees
• Responsible for the publication of statistical results as well as the entire publishing and diffusion activity of the FSO
• Strategically responsible for the Office’s topic, issue and stakeholder management
• Responsible for the strategic orientation and further development of the BFS as a member of the management
• University degree in communication/media studies, international relations, political sciences or equivalent degree
• Many years of management experience in communication, international cooperation and complex multi-stakeholder management
• Proven expertise in bilateral and multilateral cooperation as well as in international negotiations
• Excellent multilingual communication skills and proven innovation affinity in the field of digital communication forms and channels
• Active knowledge of two official languages and passive knowledge of the third official language as well as excellent knowledge of English (minimum C1)
