Role overview

As our Group CO₂ Specialist , you will help shape how the Liebherr Group measures, manages, and advances its climate ambitions.

In this hands-on, cross-functional role, you will strengthen our decarbonization efforts, improve emissions data quality and governance, and translate strategic CO2 goals into operational reality across 13 product segments.

You are analytical, pragmatic and collaborative.

Main responsibilities

  • Group-Level CO₂ Measurement & Reporting
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement Group-wide CO₂ accounting and reporting processes.
  • Help ensure alignment with key reporting frameworks such as CSRD, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and other relevant standards.
  • Contribute to the consolidation of emissions data across all product segments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
  • Support the reporting of climate-related disclosures for annual and sustainability reports. 2. CO₂ Governance & Strategy
  • Help define, implement, and oversee the Group’s CO₂ governance framework, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making structures.
  • Support the integration of CO₂ considerations into business planning, product development, and operational processes.
  • Support Group-wide decarbonisation initiatives, including target-setting, technical assessments, and roadmap development.
  • Evaluate, propose, and help implement CO₂ reduction opportunities across the value chain.
  • Monitor progress against Group targets and help track the effectiveness of initiatives. 3.
