As a Manufacturing Specialist, you will be the technical reference in this area within our Ebauches workshop. Thanks to your expertise, you will guarantee the mastery and optimization of machining processes, respecting quality, safety and time requirements. True support from the Sector Manager, you will intervene directly on production and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, while ensuring a good working climate and the support of the team.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows

• Technical expertise and process monitoring
• Be the technical reference in machining on the entire machine fleet (turning, milling 3 axes)
• Define, validate and optimize machining parameters
• Perform and/or validate machine settings to ensure compliance and repeatability
• Ensure optimal quality by respecting internal standards
• Ensure the preparation and maintenance of machinery and associated equipment
• Management of priorities and continuous improvement
• Identify and resolve machining defects
• Implement and monitor sustainable corrective actions in collaboration with production, methods and quality
• Contribute to the optimization of existing processes
• Participate in the industrialization of new products
• Ensure timeliness and management of priorities related to scheduling
• Team development and compliance
• Train and accompany employees to ensure an increase in skills including apprentices.
• Explain and enforce internal position instructions and standards.
• Promote a good working environment by encouraging communication and cooperation between teams
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental (OHS) standards.
• Raising awareness of good practices and contributing to accident prevention.
• Supervise candidate testing during recruitment processes.

The must haves and skills required for this position

• Ideally holding a polymeric CFC or equivalent training
• Experience in machining, especially in turning and milling.
• Solid skills on CNC machining means
• Regular use of Fanuc and Siemens orders
• Sense of detail and ability to quickly diagnose and resolve production anomalies
• Ability to structure and transmit technical know-how with pedagogy.
• Natural leadership to support, transmit, mentor and motivate teams
• Rigor, sense of analysis and ability to solve technical problems
• Team spirit and sense of communication to foster a positive working environment and effective collaboration
• Organisation and autonomy in the management of priorities and daily tasks
• Strong commitment to respect OSH standards and their daily application.
