Role overview
Mission The EPFL Valais Wallis Campus in Sion currently has 17 laboratories active in the key fields of energy, environment and health.
The campus is in the middle of an expension.
In order to ensure the proper functioning of the buildings of the site and, by extension, the success of our scientific research, we are looking for a versatile technician capable of operating and monitoring our technical installations.

- Main tasks and responsibilities
- Conduct preventive and curative maintenance of electrical installations in buildings;
Main responsibilities
- Main tasks and responsibilities
- Conduct preventive and curative maintenance of electrical installations in buildings;
- Ensure legal compliance of electrical works according to ITTO standards;
- Establish ITTO measurement reports following electrical works;
- Provide troubleshooting of electrical installations; Carry out small electrical installations; Provide information in the GMAO;
- Conduct work related to electrical machinery installations, peripheral equipment;
- Monitoring of external undertakings for electrical works, including administrative monitoring of interventions;
- Follow-up of various technical projects. Profile
- Electrician installer CFC or equivalent recognized by ESTI; Article 13 ITTO; Knowledge of ITBL 2020 or 2025; Minimum 5 years of experience;
- Increased knowledge of the general operation of a building;
Additional details
- Provide troubleshooting of electrical installations; Carry out small electrical installations; Provide information in the GMAO;
- Follow-up of various technical projects.
- Electrician installer CFC or equivalent recognized by ESTI; Knowledge of ITBL 2020 or 2025; Minimum 5 years of experience;

- Experience in a scientific/academic/laboratory environment, an asset.
