  • Responsible for the strategic orientation of immigration and integration policy along the entire migration process
  • Steer legislative projects in the field of foreigners, civil rights and integration and are responsible for Federal Council and parliamentary affairs Negotiate and implement bilateral and multilateral agreements in the area of migration, especially in the context of the free movement of persons
  • Coordinate and further develop cooperation with cantons, other federal agencies and national and international partners

  • University degree, supplemented by sound management experience in a comparable function
  • Several years of experience in managing complex organizational units as well as in strategic control and change processes
  • In-depth knowledge of migration and integration policy as well as proven experience in legislative and administrative procedures
  • Negotiation experience in the national and international environment as well as a strong understanding of political processes
  • Integrative leader with high social skills, assertiveness and clear communication
  • Very good active knowledge of two official languages as well as good knowledge of the third official language and very good knowledge of English
