MISSION

As early as February 2027, and for a period of six months, we are looking for a trainee to work on modeling the exhaust of a mechanical watch.

LIABILITY

In direct collaboration with the Quality, Performance & Reliability team and the watch laboratory, under the responsibility of your trainee master, your missions will be as follows:

• Bibliographical research: basic movement, exhaust theory;
• Understanding, ownership and improvement of existing models;
• Digital simulation taking into account its environment;
• Sensitivity analysis of the most critical parameters;
• Comparison of tests/calculations and numerical calibration;
• Preparation of a detailed report explaining the results and approach;
• Communication of results within the team and the Manufacture.

PROFILE

• Student engineer EPF, Large Schools or equivalent, Master level, in computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Specialization in modeling, numerical methods or finite elements.
• Excellent knowledge in programming (python, matlab), modelling (Ansys) and optimization.
• Curious, dynamic, organized and autonomous, you have a good spirit of synthesis and are the force of proposal.
• Equipped with a good handler, you show editorial ease and scientific rigour.
