As an automation engineer, you develop, program and support our machines throughout their entire life cycle.

- You program machine controls with Siemens and Rockwell as well as frequency converters from various manufacturers
- They implement the results of the risk analysis in the security software and take over programming, verification and validation according to DIN EN ISO 13849 for PLr a to e
- Completed studies (bachelor, diploma or master) in the field of automation
Main responsibilities
- You program machine controls with Siemens and Rockwell as well as frequency converters from various manufacturers
- They implement the results of the risk analysis in the security software and take over programming, verification and validation according to DIN EN ISO 13849 for PLr a to e
- You check electrical schemes and work on design documents and functional descriptions
- They oversee the software versioning and release process and ensure compliance with relevant norms and standards such as CE and UL
- They occasionally support support – both on site and remotely Requirements
- Several years of experience in the project planning and commissioning of Siemens and Rockwell control systems including safety technology and unit tests in the Digital Twin, ideally in mechanical engineering in the food industry
- Experience in the automation of processes for more efficient and faster handling of development projects
- Secure handling of Profinet, Profisafe, Ethernet, CIP Safety, IO-Link, visualization and drive technology as well as tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, SourceTree, Softema, Sistema, E-Plan and TeamViewer
- Good knowledge of German and English, willingness to travel for commissioning at the customer (about 10%);
