Role overview

Establishment of cantonal public law, the CNP has the task of conducting the health policy of the canton of Neuchâtel in the field of mental health, in collaboration with the partner institutions.

The NPC aims at the rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders by adopting an integrated and community psychiatry model; implements public policies to promote and prevent mental health; it acts as a reference centre in the field of vocational training and psychiatry research.

The Adult Department is seeking to join the Prison Medicine and Psychiatry Service (SMPP) at the Promenade's Sentencing Institution in La Chaux-de-Fonds, one of the following: Assistant Psychologist 80% As part of your function, you will be required to:

  • To ensure, on medical prescription, psychotherapeutic care under the supervision of the Senior Psychologist and Psychotherapist.
  • Conduct therapeutic assessments and indications from a clinical evaluation.
  • Collaborate in the development, implementation and updating of the patient therapy project.
  • Maintain patient records and participate in reporting.
  • Ensure the administrative monitoring of its clinical activity and the seizure of invoicing services.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary network.
  • Participate in multidisciplinarity reflection and clinical development times.
  • Contribute to meetings on the definition of departmental projects and guidelines.
