The Neuchatelian hospital network (RHNe) is a multi-site cantonal institution with a 10-bed intensive care service at the Pourtalès site in Neuchâtel. Medical supervision of the service has been autonomous since 2020 and allows for continuous care 24 hours a day. The service is recognized for medical training in intensive medicine and practical training of intensive care specialists.

Mission

• To ensure quality care for intensive care patients
• To collaborate interdisciplinaryly with HRNe specialists and with the interprofessional team of the service
• To participate in the post-graduate and in-service training of doctors and nurses
• To participate in the proper functioning and management of the service

Profile sought

• Swiss doctor diploma, or equivalent qualification recognized in Switzerland
• Specialist in intensive medicine (FMH or recognized foreign title)
• Diploma and title registered in the Register of Medical Professions (Med Reg)
• Language level in French B2 or higher
• Experience as head of university clinic (2 years desired)

• Auto-91, sense of responsibility, decision-making and implementation capacity
• Enthousiasm for the maintenance, development and teaching of knowledge
• Meaning of communication, both interprofessional and interdisciplinary
• Flexibility and good capacity for adaptation
• Interest in developing a centre of competence within the service
