Job Description Reporting to the top management, the VP Strategic Ventures & AI will be responsible for identifying, developing and scaling new commercial opportunities beyond the organization's established core activities.The role focuses on transforming innovative technologies, digital solutions, artificial intelligence capabilities and proprietary data assets into sustainable business offerings targeting adjacent markets, industries and customer segments.
- Working across strategy, commercial, product and technical functions.
- Build new accounts supported by the companies ecosystem and engage with stakeholders in Engineering, Operations and technology.
- Define the lifecycle management and improve operational performance through clear customer initiatives with a value proposition.
- Define strategy and market opportunities, develop go-to-market approaches, establish strategic partnerships and oversee the commercialization of new services and solutions on a global scale.
This is a highly visible position combining strategic thinking with hands-on business building responsibilities.
The Successful Applicant
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business or MBA
- Proven experience in business development, strategic growth, commercialization, innovation or new venture creation within an industrial, technology, engineering or infrastructure related environment.
- Track record of launching and scaling technology enabled solutions and products to market.
- Experience with new venture markets, services and building a new product from idea to commercialization
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, data-driven solutions and AI applications in industrial settings.
- Ability to engage and influence senior executives, customers and strategic partners internationally.
- Experience in the commercial design, pricing, negotiation, IP framing and go-to-market execution.
- Strong commercial acumen combined with strategic, analytical and entrepreneurial capabilities.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Technology or a related discipline preferred.
- Fluent in English required; additional languages are considered an asset.
