Main responsibilities
- They coordinate international deliveries from different production sites, organise multimodal transports and, in particular, manage international transport processes
- They draw up and verify export-, customs- and accreditation-compliant transit and commercial documents
- They collect transport quotes and evaluate them in terms of costs, duration, routing, equipment and possible risks
- You hire freight forwarders, monitor shipping dates and coordinate the entire transport process
- They ensure compliance with all relevant customs, export control, origin and preference requirements and communicate proactively with internal interfaces, international locations and external partners. Requirements
- Basic commercial training and several years of experience in administrative export processing;
- Further training in foreign trade or in the forwarding industry is advantageous
- In-depth knowledge of Incoterms, export and customs documentation and international transport, especially in the field of ocean freight
- Safe handling of transport documents, commercial invoices, packing lists and proofs of origin and preferences;
- Experience with Letters of Credit, project logistics or machine and plant export is an advantage
