Role overview
The Psychiatric Services SRO ensure regional, community-based and patient-oriented psychiatric care for 80,000 residents.
We have modern, integrated care structures such as emergency triage, ward-equivalent mobile acute treatment, integrative psychiatric care, social psychiatric and psychotherapeutic outpatient clinics at 4 locations with special offers, as well as a rehabilitation day clinic, an acute day clinic, geriatric psychiatry with an outpatient clinic and a day clinic and an inpatient service with 34 beds in the Langenthal Hospital.
We have SIWF recognition as a category A training center for 3 years, both outpatient and inpatient.

- In collaboration with the senior psychologist, you will guide the medical and psychological case managers.
- We work in the two wards, each with 17 beds, thanks to the high staffing ratio, with open doors and treat people from 18 years old to old age with mental illnesses from the entire diagnostic spectrum (excluding dementia, eating disorders, developmental disorders).
- De-escalation techniques and engagement in personal conversations with patients are essential.
- Working part-time in our mobile acute treatment is also possible and desirable.
- Requirements: You have completed specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy or have several years of experience in this field.
- You are a team-oriented personality, combine evidence-based work with a social psychiatric perspective, and treat mentally ill people with respect and empathy. A pinch of humor rounds off her profile.
