The Children's Hospital Central Switzerland of the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital (LUKS) is one of the largest children's hospitals in Switzerland and serves the entire region of Central Switzerland at the highest level. Tasks

• In this responsible position, you take over the professional and organizational management of our pediatric department. We serve patients from the entire spectrum of infectious and non-infectious diseases in childhood and adolescence in the catchment area of Central Switzerland.
• They are directly involved in patient care on the ward and actively participate in the general pediatric cadre service.
• They lead the senior physicians of inpatient pediatrics and assume responsibility for the continuous development of inpatient care, especially in the areas of lean hospital and digital transformation.
• LUKS is a university teaching and research hospital. In this sense, they are actively involved in education, further education and training in pediatrics and teach within the framework of the Joint Medical Master (thematic block pediatrics).

Requirements

• You have a specialist title in paediatrics and adolescent medicine as well as several years of experience as a senior physician or senior physician of general pediatrics.
• You are a clinically oriented professional with in-depth professional experience at a center hospital or university clinic.
• As a leader, you are characterized by high social and communication skills. Assuming responsibility, reliability and integrity are among your strengths.
