Main responsibilities

  • They look after and treat patients with orthopaedic and traumatological issues in the knee area and are responsible for the operational and professional management of this focus.

  • They participate in the orthopaedic-traumatological emergency service as well as in regular background services at night and on weekends.

  • Specialist title orthopaedics and musculoskeletal traumatology or equivalent qualification with proven experience in surgical knee surgery.
  • Broad operational expertise in endoprosthetics, axle corrections, patello-femoral surgery and arthroscopic procedures including tape reconstructions and meniscus surgery.
  • Engaged, resilient and communicative personality with a high patient and service orientation as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation.
