As Lead Architect and Team Leader Architecture, you lead a team of 8 architects and take over the central control of the IT architecture of CONCORDIA: You ensure that our IT landscape evolves coherently, forward-looking and strategy-driven, are the connecting element between business, IT strategy and implementation and ensure that architecture, technology and product development play optimally together. • Overall responsibility and central controlling authority for the entire IT architecture (Enterprise, Security, Solution Architecture).
• Continuous development of the IT architecture and alignment with future requirements.
• Definition, expansion and maintenance of the target architecture incl. Roadmaps.
• Ensure a consistent architecture across all product groups.
• Moderation of architectural decisions, establishment of the corresponding decision-making processes and management of architectural bodies.
• Definition of architectural principles, guidelines, technology standards and policies.
• Evaluation of technological developments in the market and in the industry.
• Build and maintain a strong partner network.
• Translation of business and IT strategy into concrete architectural goals, fields of action and measures.
• Creating transparency about the architecture and its further development throughout the organization.
• Responsibility for the application and interface inventory as the central basis for managing the IT landscape.

You bring that with you

• Completed studies (Informatics, Business Informatics, Engineering) or equivalent training with many years of professional experience.
• Several years of experience in a leading architectural role, ideally in a complex, product-oriented IT landscape.
• In-depth understanding of modern architecture approaches (cloud, data, platforms, AI) as well as broad experience in enterprise architecture, security architecture and solution architecture.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to transform IT strategy into actionable architectural solutions.
• Strong communication and moderation capabilities; assertiveness paired with team orientation.
• Practice in the creation of architecture roadmaps, standards and policies.
• Experience in evaluating and introducing new technologies
• An agile way of working and thinking.

• Very good knowledge of German
• Good English skills are beneficial.
