- To ensure the performance, stability and reliability of Cold End's fluid transport, spray and treatment systems, covering water cooling, stripping and pre-treatment processes, processing of rolling oils, and filtration of plant discharges.
- Work with R&D and development to develop new pretreatments and improve current processes.
- Conduct in-depth analyses (root causes, 8D, DMAIC) and ensure sustainable corrective solutions.
- Define production standards and ensure their application.
- Monitoring and analysing process performance using key indicators (KPI), statistical process control (SPC) and feedback (RoE).
- Ensure technological monitoring and propose innovations to maintain process competitiveness.
- Conducting continuous improvement and organization projects (Manufacturing Excellence Systems, training of operators, standardization of practices).
- Hybrid function combining field presence and office activities (about 50% / 50%), with strong interaction with production teams.

- Engineering training in mechanics/chemicals, industrial processes or equivalent.
- Experience confirmed in the industrial environment, ideally in metallurgy, surface treatment or chemical industry.
- Good understanding of industrial fluid systems (pumps, pipeline networks, filtration, circulation and regulation).
- Be comfortable in an industrial environment involving acid bath handling.
- Knowledge of chemical treatment, effluent management an asset.
- Strong field presence, relational ease and ability to accompany change.
- Mastery of computer and industrial tools (SAP, advanced Excel, BIRT, PowerBI, SQL, etc.).
- Industrial process skills, data analysis and problem solving (Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, DoE)
