Role overview
The opportunity To strengthen our front-end sales organization, we are looking for a Head of Bid & Proposal to take on a central role in the Swiss sales team.
In this role, you will be responsible for bid management and the creation of high-quality and competitive offers for our portfolio of high-voltage products and transformers.
You will further develop the Bid & Proposal team and lead it both professionally and disciplinarily.
As a central interface, you coordinate all relevant internal stakeholders and make a significant contribution to the successful development of the Swiss market with timely, high-quality offers.

This is what you can achieve Professional and disciplinary leadership of the bid & proposal and order handling team with a clear focus on growth and business results in line with the Hitachi Energy strategy Further development of competencies, structures and processes to ensure a high-performance, motivated and committed team Overall responsibility for offer processes and order processing in the product business for the Swiss market - on time, quality and in line with the customer Ensuring the correct and on-time delivery and compliant submission of offers in accordance with customer, contractual and internal
- requirements Development and control of offer strategies in close collaboration with Market Management, Area Sales, Key Account Management, Contract Management & Legal as well as the plants Active design of efficient interfaces between sales, engineering and production as well as continuous improvement of offer management processes Living the Hitachi Energy values, in particular safety and integrity Your background Completed studies (Bachelor/Master) in the technical or engineering field
- Additional business qualifications are an advantage At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in technical sales, bid & proposal or project management Proven experience in leading or coordinating teams as well as in managing complex stakeholder structures Industry knowledge in the energy sector and strong customer orientation Deep understanding of tendering and order processing processes, incl.
SAP basics, commercial processes, contract negotiations, risk and claims management Very good communication skills, independent and proactive way of working, team player Business fluent German and very good spoken and written English
