Together one floor up as Head Employee Safety (m/f/d) 80-100 % Your new challenges: As Head of Employee Safety, you assume overall responsibility for occupational safety and health at Schindler Aufzüge AG and AS Aufzüge AG. You lead the department (Safety Management & Operational Medical) disciplinary and shape a sustainable safety culture that is lived throughout the company. Tasks:

• Disciplinary management of the Occupational Safety Department (Safety Management & Operational Health) incl. Planning and budgeting of the area of responsibility
• Responsibility for the development and maintenance of a holistic safety management system in close cooperation with the Group and the local safety officers
• Develop, implement and continuously update security policies and procedures and monitor compliance with all relevant security standards
• Identification and assessment of risks and development of targeted prevention measures
• Management of safety training and responsibility of safety communication
• Monitoring and evaluation of safety data, accident reports and safety audits and conducting safety inspections
• Development and communication of crisis management and emergency planning concepts as well as target group-oriented stakeholder management
• Close cooperation with occupational health management and internal departments
• Collaboration in Group projects
• Further development of the security culture in close cooperation with stakeholders Your ideal conditions:
• Completed studies in safety management, engineering or equivalent qualification
• Certifications (safety engineer, safety specialist, specialist ASGS, SIBE, NEBOSCH) are advantageous
• Several years of professional experience as Head Employee Safety or in a comparable management position
• In-depth knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations (SUVA, EKAS, ISO 45001)
• Experience in the management and development of security officers and in risk analysis and management
• Good understanding of operational processes and processes in an industrial environment
• Very good knowledge of German and English (min. C1); Knowledge of French is beneficial
• Strong leadership, communication and persuasion
