- 10+ years of experience in Quality Management roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment

- The Global Quality Specialist for the specific Product Line is responsible for ensuring excellence in product/process quality across assigned product families by coordinating quality initiatives across multiple Manufacturing Units (MUs) and Local Sales Organization (LSOs).
- This role serves as the central quality authority, driving consistency in quality standards, coordinating critical quality issues, managing E2E performance metrics by product line, and leading quality improvements from product development through full production lifecycle.
- This role is part of the Critical Power Function within ABB's Electrification Smart Power (ELSP) Division .
- We are hiring two Global Quality Specialists , each supporting one of the following product families: 1) High Power
- Main stakeholders are Manufacturing Units, Local Sales Unit (LSU’s) and Agile Team.
- The work model for the role is: Hybrid / remote.
- Quality Performance Management & KPI Leadership: Own end-to-end KPI management across assigned product families, consolidating data from multiple Manufacturing Units and Local Sales Organizations.
- Ensure comprehensive visibility on Time-to-Close, Customer DPU, CoPQ, FPY , and other key metrics, with clear breakdown by factory to drive continuous improvement.
- Quality Governance & Cross-Site Alignment: Ensure consistent alignment on root cause analyses and CAPAs across all sites, eliminating duplicate efforts and establishing a single Quality voice for the product line actively contributing during the Quality Circle events/reviews.
- Critical Customer Quality Issue Resolution: Act as Single Point of Contact for critical quality issues and lead RCA processes when investigations span multiple factories.
