Full description
Shape the future of Finance at Emmi. As Manager Finance Transformation, Data & AI, you will play a key role in advancing Finance Excellence, transformation initiatives and digital innovation across Emmi's global organisation. You will represent Finance in Emmi's AI initiative and play a key role in shaping and managing the Finance AI agenda under the overall direction of the Head of Group Finance Processes & Analytics. Working closely with the Head of Group Finance Processes & Analytics, you will turn business needs into practical, scalable solutions and lead strategic workstreams from concept through implementation and sustainable adoption. We are looking for a Finance transformation professional with a good, practice-based understanding of Finance processes and the ability to connect business needs with data, technology and AI-enabled solutions. Ideally, you bring proven project leadership experience; at minimum, you have played a significant role in projects as a key stakeholder, workstream lead or overall project lead. You bring curiosity, sound judgement and a collaborative, hands-on approach to shaping solutions that create measurable value for Finance. The role can be based at any Emmi location worldwide, with regular presence in Lucerne and international travel of approximately 20%.
What impact you can have
- Drive Finance transformation initiatives across Emmi and independently manage strategic workstreams from concept through implementation.
- Partner with Group and local Finance teams to analyse, standardise, simplify and improve Finance processes across our international organisation.
- Represent Finance in Emmi's AI initiative and independently manage the Finance AI use-case portfolio within and beyond OneStream, from opportunity assessment and prioritisation through pilots, implementation and sustainable adoption.
- Lead workshops, gather business requirements and translate insights into actionable recommendations and sustainable improvements.
- Take ownership of global projects, ensuring effective stakeholder alignment, execution, risk management and successful delivery.
- Prepare and confidently present analyses, business cases and recommendations to senior stakeholders across the organisation.
- Support the development of future-ready Finance capabilities through collaboration, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
What you bring to the table
- Degree from a University or a related higher education institution in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Business Information Systems or a related field.
- At least multiple years of relevant professional experience in Finance transformation, Finance project management, process improvement, data or analytics, ideally gained in a decentralised international corporate environment, with the ability to work effectively across Group and local organisations with different needs and maturity levels.
- Good, practice-based understanding of Finance processes, planning and reporting, combined with practical experience in identifying, shaping or implementing digital, analytics or AI use cases and translating business needs into value-creating solutions; deep technical expertise or AI development experience is not required.
- Proven ability to independently lead complex workstreams, actively contribute to shaping and implementing solutions rather than only coordinating or delegating, drive change through to sustainable adoption, and influence and create alignment across Group Finance, local Finance, IT and other functions without formal authority, including with senior stakeholders across locations.
- Curious, analytical and solution-oriented team player who is comfortable working in an evolving environment without predefined answers, creates structure, applies sound judgement and moves topics forward pragmatically, while asking thoughtful questions, listening carefully and developing solutions with others
- Experience working with ERP environments and Finance systems; practical exposure to OneStream or comparable EPM/CPM platforms and to BI, analytics or AI solutions is an advantage.
- Fluent English; additional language skills are a plus. Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 20%).
