You give the employees support and ensure clear orientation in everyday life. You ensure a high-quality central advice and support offer and develop it continuously in the context of current professional and social requirements. In the area of child protection, you take on joint responsibility and support specialists in challenging situations safely and professionally.

Your tasks

• Operational management of the School Social Work department in professional, human, financial and organisational terms
• Ensuring and further developing a high-quality and contemporary counselling offer at the primary school with the available resources
• Design of the service mandate of the department
• Requirements for the organisation of work and the use of working instruments
• Management and coordination of the use of school social workers (resource distribution)
• Perception of controlling and quality management at specialist level
• Participation in the Faculty Management Conference of School Support
• Networking of the faculty with child and youth welfare centres

Your profile

• University or technical college degree in social work
• Several years of professional and managerial experience as well as in-depth practical knowledge in the field of school social work
• Additional training in a systemic-solution-oriented working method
• Expertise in child welfare, child welfare and child protection, parenting and family issues
• Ability to understand complex systems and purposefully moderate processes
• Experience in cooperation and implementation of projects (project management)
• Strong social and communication skills and negotiating security in exchange with school management
