• As a data engineer, you develop and operate data products that offer direct added value to our specialist areas.
• You design and realize scalable data pipelines to ensure reliable data flows.
• You are responsible for the quality and transparency of the data and support compliance with our data governance.
• In close cooperation with specialist departments, product owners and DevOps teams, you actively shape our data mesh landscape and data platform. What you bring
• You bring experience in data engineering and modern data architectures.
• Your in-depth SQL knowledge is complemented by practical experience with Python
• You have already worked with dbt (data build tool), Apache Airflow or similar technologies.
• You are familiar with container and cloud platforms such as OpenShift and automated CI/CD processes.
• You understand the principles of data mesh, data products and data governance and ideally bring knowledge of the insurance software Syrius.
