The pastoral care of the SPZ has always been ecumenically understood and shaped. The attentive accompaniment and encouragement of our patients and their relatives in personal, religious and spiritual concerns are the main tasks of the clinic chaplainship.

We are looking for a committed personality as a clinic chaplain 70% immediately or by agreement. Tasks: • Pastoral support and advice for patients and their relatives • Design and implementation of confessional and ecumenical services and celebrations • Accompanying and supporting the voluntary visiting service • Participation in interdisciplinary meetings • Cooperation and agreement with the reformed chaplain Requirements • Completed studies in theology, the introduction of the diocese of Basel or an equivalent education • Presence of the prerequisite for episcopal commissioning (missio canonica) • Several years of professional experience in a parish or clinic • Special training that qualifies you for accompanying and consulting practice in the hospital and in the home (Clinical pastoral care training KSA/CPT or equivalent training) • Openness to people from other denominations, religions, worldviews and cultures • Flexibility, teamwork, strong communication skills with high self-reflection • Language skills required in French and/or Italian We offer: You not only expect attractive employment conditions, but also numerous other advantages. The Swiss Paraplegic Centre in Nottwil is a private, nationally and internationally recognized specialist clinic for cross-sectional, back and respiratory medicine. As an acute and rehabilitation clinic, the centre offers its patients comprehensive care and supports them throughout their lives. The clinic is part of the Swiss Paraplegic Group, which provides a globally unique service network for the holistic rehabilitation of people with paraplegia.
