Here in Thun, we work together to ensure the perfect operation of the Swiss Army vehicles. As an EFZ automatist you work where high-tech, precision and responsibility come together
In the first two years of apprenticeship, you lay the technical foundation: you learn to build controls, test circuits and put electropneumatic systems into operation. You work with tools as well as brains and develop the skills you need for challenging technical tasks. This basic training takes place at our location in Wilderswil.
In the third and fourth year of apprenticeship, it becomes even more practical: You take on tasks in the maintenance of vehicles and their components, support in maintenance and tests and work with modern measuring systems. You will learn to understand technical connections, to recognize errors and to find solutions. You will complete these two apprenticeship years at our location in Thun.
